Schools Sculpture Pathway

Expanding on the fledgling educational programme that was held at the inaugural Harbourview Sculpture Trail in 2012, the Schools Sculpture Pathway is a youth extension of the artists brief that reaches out to local schools, inviting them to participate in the biennial outdoor exhibition.

This programme provides local students the opportunity to create works for exhibit at the Harbourview Sculpture Trail along with funding for materials, mentoring and support for their research and inspiration.

Harriet a practicing sculptor and arts educator at Hungry Creek Art & Craft School.

The HST Schools Pathway, is a year-long arts activity with a localised environmental focus, that will develop engagement with local youth, and enhance not only their identity and pride of place, but also the unification of our adjoining suburbs.

Thanks to Resene and Mitre10 MEGA Henderson for their support with the HST Schools Pathway.
